Hello! I’m Ellen, an acoustic performer based in the city of Aberdeen in the North East of Scotland. I have been gigging professionally for the last three years across a series of different venues, bars, events and special occasions. If you are looking for music to elevate your occasion or event perhaps I can be of service to you.
A Little Bit About Me
Hello! I’m Ellen, I started out as a drama student, studying contemporary screen acting in Ayr in 2014. After graduating from UWS with a BA Hons degree I decided to pick up the guitar and slowly began to experiment with music. Initially I was very much a bedroom jammer, on the odd occasion I’d work up the courage to play at an open mic after a little convincing. Although I had always loved to sing I’d never thought to pursue it, it didn’t seem possible when I felt that I had so much to learn. I started writing my own material in 2018 and had my first solo gig in April 2019. When everything closed down during lockdown I found myself busking around the city centre. Once things had started to open up again I began gigging professionally in the summer of 2021, the rest is history.
How Can I Help?
Whether it is music to liven up a summer BBQ, adding a little more ambience to your late night venue or providing the soundtrack for your special day, I am always happy to help where I can.
You can usually find me around Aberdeen city centre Wednesday - Sunday playing in bars, functions, weddings or corporate events.
